We’re always a little scared when a mainstream publication wants an interview because it’s going to tell the world about “the smoking fetish.” More often than not, unless the piece is in a “sexually oriented” publication like Playboy, the approach is “hey, look at these weirdos!” But it turns out that the latest to ask, the Village Voice, was nothing to be scared about – the piece didn’t say much of anything either way – it was nonjudgemental and largely just a series of quotes – even though they did lump us with something called “clown sex”
