This may not be of interest to most people.
But as we’ve reported from time to time, there are a small number of people who’ve had trouble watching the movies at Smoking Flicks.
Most of the problems were taken care of when we re-encoded all the videos.
A few people still had difficulties which we’ve taken care of, one-by-one.
But we suspect there are also a few people who had a problem, and just left without ever contacting us.
And there is a new tool just out, which has miraculously fixed just about all of the remaining problems people have had with streaming the videos – it takes the place of long, drawn-out, complicated instructions we had to give people whose media players just wouldn’t work on the videos.
It’s a Microsoft site that cleans out any corrupted licensing information on your computer (which is what causes most of the problems) just by clicking a button.
So…..
if you have visited Smoking Flicks in the past, got error messages that prevented the videos from playing, and then just left without asking us for help…….here’s the answer.
