Thank god there are still a few “celebrities” who haven’t lost their ability to ignore the prevailing winds of opinion. Props to Melanie Griffith and her (gasp!) 17-year old smoking daughter.
On another subject, even though we were 100% wrong last week on our prognostication about possible TV smoking on an episode of Psych, there’s another pair of shows we’re going to be watching tonight with great hope, “The Minor Accomplishments of Jackie Woodman” with Laura Kightlinger and Nicholle Tom, and “The Business” with Julia Sullivan. They’re debuting tonight on IFC (Independent Film Channel) at 11pm and 11:30pm – and since they’re both based on low-level Hollywood wanna-be types with an indie feel – we’re hopeful once again
