We had to stop by Circuit City today to pick something up – and outside the store, were three cute mid-teen girls sitting on lawn chairs. They were waiting for PS3s, which were supposedly going to be going on sale tomorrow morning. They were ready to spend the night, with sleeping bags, iPods, books, food, drinks – and about five packs of Marlboro Reds. We talked with them for a little while as they smoked convincingly – and for reasons most of you will understand, thought briefly of getting in line with them for the rest of their wait. But work called – so we’ll just have to imagine them chaining the night away, waiting for their PS3s
