Well, there weren’t a ton of specifically terrific moments during the new AMC “period piece” set in an 1960s New York ad agency – but there were several very nice ones, and the promise of much more; but what we liked the most is the overall, realistic portrayal of smoking in the everyday office and bar scenes: ubiquitous.
We were just coming of age during that period – but it was both stimulating and nostagic. And we know we’ll be tuned in each week; we really suggest (if you missed it) catching the show in reruns or on demand – it’s a wonderful reminder of the types of sightings that existed everywhere you turned, anywhere, anytime.
