Thanks to Flamingo, who brought this to our attention on the main Smoke Signals message board.
The anti-smoking “researchers” (English translation: crusaders) have drawn some pretty amazing “conclusions” over the years.
But you won’t believe the research, or more accurately, the lack of research, and more importantly the lack of simply paying attention – in attributing the proliferation of smoking fetish clips around the web as “possibly being posted by tobacco manufacturers to recruit the next generation of smokers.”
One would think that “researchers” would just take the time (that’s paid for by government or private grants) to figure out where the clips are coming from – and who’s actually posting them.
But then again – why look for facts, when your real goal is to ban smoking, whether it’s through accurate information or outright lies?
The link to the full article is here. And thanks again to Flamingo for bringing this to our attention.
