We’re often too quick to judge, and our snap judgement of the new AMC show “Mad Men” after the first episode (lots of smoking but nothing really well filmed) was really off the mark. The next two episodes really picked up the pace; January Jones is seen smoking most often, but just about every woman on the show smokes, and there have been numerous, nicely-shot deep inhales, cone exhales shot in profile and well-lit, even a few snaps, along with holders for those of you who are holder fans and even some pregnant woman smoking scenes. Our initial view of “quantity, not quality” has now been officially revamped to “don’t miss this show” – every Thursday night on AMC.
