Maybe we’re a bit oblivious at times.
We’ve had cable TV for years, but when the video on demand stuff came along, we didn’t really give it much thought – it seemed that it was just another way to watch the movies that were already on cable anyway.
Then last week, in talking to the cable company about a bill, they said “Oh, VOD isn’t enabled on your boxes – wait a second – OK, you’re all good to go.”
So, we figured we might as well check it out.
And lo and behold, when you combine the services that we have (HBO, Showtime, The Movie Channel) – there must be over a hundred movies – PLUS a ton of the late-night half-hour shows (the ones about hookers and bordellos and such) that very often have smoking in them.
Looks like we have a new way to spend spare time (if we ever find any, that is
