We don’t know how many of you are Carlos Mencia fans (we’re going to see him perform tomorrow) – but he has a catch phrase for people who aren’t too bright: “dee dee dee” (he does it in a sing-songy voice that you can here here.
We love the people in our community, and we’re not trying to insult anyone – but sometimes we open an email and the first thing we think is “dee dee dee.”
People who write and say “please cancel my membership” or “i’m checking on a video order” and don’t include their full name, their user name (for a website) or their order number or other details (for a video order) – and then get angry because we ask for more information? People who have a problem with Smoking Flicks and just send an email saying “it doesn’t work” or who don’t write to report a problem for nine months and then want a refund? Sometimes we can’t help it…we open their emails and all we can think is “dee dee dee.”
We don’t think you’re dumb, folks – just sometimes, you don’t think. Email isn’t magical – we still need as much information as we can get when you write to us. We WANT to provide great customer service – PLEASE help us to do it.
We KNOW you’re not dee dee dee’s – please don’t act like it when you write
